The Andreotti Family Farm has been in operation for three generations. In 1926 Dino Andreotti and Julia Benedetti started the farm, producing primarily artichokes, beans, and broccoli. Their son Dino and his wife Terry took over in the seventies. Now the farm is over 90 years old, starting on the 4th generation, and they produce just about every winter vegetable you can imagine, including some of the largest pumpkins in the area. Their pumpkins have often been featured in the world famous Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival. We chose a perfect October afternoon to venture down to Half Moon Bay!
