On what was probably one of the most beautiful days in March, we traveled to Richmond to visit the Rosie the Riveter Museum where we enjoyed a fun-filled and educational visit. In line with Women’s History Month our trip took us to the museum which represents the American women who worked in both shipyards and factories during World War II. What were these women doing? They were producing munitions and war supplies right along with the men. We thoroughly enjoyed our time both indoors and outdoors and we returned to Bayside Park with some additional knowledge which always feels so good.
